Cheng Hsin Cumbria is based in the beautiful North Yorkshire National Park, in and around the town of Sedbergh, and is organized by June Parker.
The group offers the opportunity to train in the Art of Effortless Power and body-being in three basic formats:
1. Weekly practice.
2. Three or four Effortless Power workshops per annum with guest teachers.
3. Additional monthly training afternoons in the months when there is no workshop.
Brief details are as follows:
Weekly training sessions are held on Thursday mornings from 9.30 till 11.00 in Sedbergh. However, it is always advisable to call June on 015396-20972 a day or two beforehand just to confirm that training will take place, as occasionally a session may have to be cancelled.
Effortless Power Workshops
Two day Effortless Power workshops take place at Barbon Village Hall and the following workshops are confirmed for 2018 and 2019:
- 1st and 2nd September with Kevin Magee*
(* This event includes a Contemplation and Communication workshop on the evening of Friday 31st August, in addition to the two day Effortless Effectiveness Workshop.)
- 27th and 28th October with Elizabeth Saetia
- 9th and 10th January 2019 with Brendan Lea
(* This event includes a Contemplation and Communication workshop on the evening of Tuesday 8th January, in addition to the two day Effortless Power workshop.)
- 16th and 17th March 2019 with Kevin
- 20th and 21st July 2019 with Kevin
- 31st August and 1st September 2019 with Kevin

Additional Monthly Training
Currently, additional monthly training sessions are planned for November and December, and will take place on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon in the month, from 1.00 till 5.00, at Barbon Village Hall. Details will be published as soon as they are available.
